Resin Door Panel
Resin door panels are divided into two main categories: PET/melamine resin door panels for kitchen cabinets (used for wardrobes and kitchen cabinets) and WPC wood-plastic resin door panels (used for bathroom and basement doors, which are waterproof and mildew-proof). Their core advantages are that they are formaldehyde-free, waterproof and moisture-proof, and not easily deformed.

General Advantages and Disadvantages
✅ Advantages
1. Environmentally friendly: High-quality models are almost formaldehyde-free, making them safe for pregnant women and families with children.
2. Moisture-proof and stable: Non-absorbent, crack-free, and mold-free, outperforming solid wood doors and ordinary paint-free doors.
3. Durable and easy to clean: Dense surface, easily wipes away oil stains, and resistant to impacts.
4. Dimensionally stable: Can be made into extra-tall doors, not easily bent or deformed.
❌ Disadvantages
1. Pure resin door panels have a slightly plasticky feel, and the high-end wood-like feel is not as good as solid wood.
2. Deep scratches on the surface are difficult to repair.
3. Low-priced, off-brand products are prone to edge banding cracking and film peeling.
Key Points for Avoiding Pitfalls in Purchasing
1. Cabinet door panels: Prioritize PUR laser edge banding to avoid black edges; for humid kitchens and bathrooms, prioritize all-aluminum PET substrate for thorough moisture protection.
2. Bathroom doors: Look for solid WPC one-piece molding; avoid composite doors with only resin veneer and an internal wood core, as they will still swell due to moisture.
3. Environmental standards: ENF level > E0 level. Request a test report before placing an order.
